Throughout the photoshoot, Eunhye had a faraway look on her face, not quite suitable for the happy theme of their shoot. Nobody seemed to notice it, though – they were all too busy concentrating on poses and facial expressions, and trying to comply to all of the photographer’s needs. They only noticed it when the photographer kept shooting her down, telling her to focus more on the face, and to stop day dreaming.
“Onni, what’s wrong?” TaeEun asked out of pure concern for the older member. This was during the 10 minute break they were given to freshen up and redo makeup. Eunhye didn’t really notice. She just kept clutching her phone tightly, knuckles white from the grip. Her eyes were facing the direction of the cameras, but she wasn’t really looking at them. She didn’t blink. She just looked like she was thinking deeply about something, afraid.
“Onni?” TaeEun waved a hand over Eunhye’s face. The girl’s eyes moved a bit, then finally blinked, as she registered what was going on. She gave the younger a curious look.
“What was that for?” She asked, her voice bland. She hadn’t meant for it to sound sarcastic, but it came out that way. TaeEun understood perfectly well, though. Said younger member smiled.
“Well, you didn’t rspond. Are you okay? What’re you thinking about?”
“Oh. Err.. Um.. N-Nothing.” Eunhye looked down and started playing with her phone, flipping the cover up and down. She felt a cool hand on her own. A gentle but firm grip.
“Don’t do that.” TaeEun was more serious now. “I tell something’s wrong, onni. Why don’t you just share it with me? If you don’t, I won’t be able to help you.”
Eunhye looked up, only to meet TaeEun’s gaze. The older sighed. Should she tell? Even if they were very close friends? She sighed again, this time in surrender.
“Okay okay…” Eunhye hesitated for a moment. “It’s… It’s… Ryeowook oppa.”
